MEDICAL SOCIETY OF NEW JERSEY PARTNERS WITH SETON HALL TO PROVIDE GRADUATE PROGRAM TO MEMBER-PHYSICIANS
Lawrenceville – The Medical Society of New Jersey (MSNJ) and Seton Hall University (SHU) of South Orange, NJ, announced a partnership that will extend SetonWorldWide’s nationally recognized
Online Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree program to MSNJ member physicians.
Designed to prepare healthcare executives for leadership roles in the healthcare industry, this 39-credit graduate program is delivered primarily through Internet-based courses and is taught by nationally recognized scholars and practitioners. MSNJ member physicians are eligible to receive a special MSNJ tuition rate upon program enrollment and upon graduation.
“The Internet and Web-based learning have changed the rules of the game for working professionals,” said SetonWorldWide Director Philip DiSalvio, Ed.D. “This strategic partnership will help afford MSNJ member physicians access to an intensive graduate-level educational experience and will provide them with an in-depth application of contemporary health policy and health management issues.
“Online education has had a profound impact on professional development and practicing physicians everywhere,” said Michael Kornett, Chief Executive Officer of the Medical Society of New Jersey.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer members an intensive, high-quality graduate-level program from such an esteemed university as Seton Hall.”
SHU offers the MHA program in both on-campus and online formats, with the latter offered exclusively on a cohort-basis. MSNJ member physicians can take advantage of the MHA degree program effective March 2009.
